The following table shows attractions under general headings but is in no way exhaustive. Many attractions are open all year round. Generally speaking the beaches of the South Coast provide gentler bathing waters than those on the North Coast. Surfing is usually better on the North Coast - at Marazion you may see "surfers" using kites to propel themselves. If you intend to use an inflatable boat or other "toy" please ensure that you tether it firmly to the beach. A very modest offshore wind can cause such an inflatable to blow out to sea with great rapidity. Be especially careful where children are concerned. If you intend to fish off the rocks please take particular care as sudden waves can cause loss of life. |
